| In 2006 we opened our first Nehemiah Hostel in Sivangangai, South India, for children with difficult home circumstances, living in villages too far from the local schools to be able to attend. The hostel is small, with just 6 boys presently, but this enables us to maintain a family environment in which they can be nurtured and grow. Just 10 minutes from the local school, the boys are able to access education for the first time. With support from a tutor at the hostel, loving ‘dorm parents’, home-cooked meals and regular Bible studies and devotions, Nehemiah Ministries has transformed the lives of these boys. |

| It costs just £20 a month to sponsor a child at the hostel, to enable them to attend school. This amount includes term-time accommodation, all food, school supplies and uniform, toiletries and a new set of clothes at Christmas. There are full time Christian ‘dorm parents’, responsible for the care, nurture and development of the children. The more sponsors we get, the more children we can accept. |

You will receive a photo and profile of the child you are sponsoring, an annual letter from them and a mid-year report on their progress.
