Services

Ever feel like you’re climbing a mountain and just need someone to walk with you? We’d like to do just that. Nehemiah’s Services are community based and can be adapted according to need. Just let us know how we might best support you to move forward in your Recovery Journey.
5-0 Recovery Café (FORC)
From the 20th April, Nehemiah’s 5-0 Recovery Café (FORC) will be running 10.30am-12.30pm each Monday at Renfrew North Church, 14b Renfield Street, (PA4 8RG; around the corner from the Town Hall). Come along for some pool, table tennis, crafts, mini Recovery groups or just a wee chat. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you would like further information, or you can find out more here.
12 Week Groupwork Programmes
Nehemiah also runs 12 week Recovery-focused Groupwork Programmes. These run for 2 hours, twice a week. They are rolling programmes which means that you can join at any point. They cover a variety of topics such as Goals, Recovery and Wellbeing. If you would like to register your interest or find out more please don’t hesitate to contact us. We appreciate that the idea of attending groupwork can be daunting so if you would like to try a couple of ‘taster’ groups before committing to the programme you are welcome to do so. Find out more here.
Wild and Free Outdoor Group
Nehemiah runs a Wild and Free Outdoor Group on Thursdays. This includes a combination of allotment gardening – vegetables, herbs and fruit; as well as walks in the countryside. We are also hoping to link in with the John Muir Trust in order to offer their Award. Find out more about Wild and Free here.

Individual Support
Due to the nature of our Service, Nehemiah is able to offer very individualised support to our members. For some, a first step is to address challenges in relation to their housing, whether this is repairs, diy, decorating or sorting out bills and arrears – we can help. If you are struggling to make changes and to start on the Road to Recovery we are able to offer regular support via text or WhatsApp – or even just meet up for a cuppa. If you would like support to attend health appointments or court we can be there with you. We are keen to hear from you – and what you think would help you move from the chaos to freedom. We want to help you. Don’t hesitate to contact us!
Bethandy Family Support Group
We are also hoping to start a family support group which is CRAFT-based (Community Reinforcement and Family Training). If you are burdened by a loved one’s addiction then please don’t hesitate to contact us to register your interest. Allow us the privilege of helping you, in order that you might help your loved one. Find out more here.
Interested to know what else we’re offering as part our our Services? The following are all possibilities – but by all means be creative and inspirational and let us know if we’ve missed any other activities you would really enjoy, or support that you would appreciate!
